11th grade
More news fresh from Haiti: Stephanie Quoichil, Argentine, and Alex Jerome have passed their entrance exams and been accepted into 11th grade at College Maranatha, the school in the mission just up the street from the orphanage. I know that all three of them were nervous that they would be bumped back into 10th grade, since they only did a half year of tutoring last year. They all say that they are very excited to be going to a real school for the first time in over a year. They will be joining Evens, our oldest child, who has already been attending Maranatha for the last year so he will be able to help these three find their way around on the first days. Evens has also played on the Maranatha basketball team, so I am hopeful that Alex will also get the chance to play.
