And then there's Kimberly. We cannot figure out what's wrong with her. She is just a miserable little baby. She was running fevers 2 weeks ago and her throat looked awful, so we treated her for 10 days with penicillin. Now, the fevers are gone, the throat looks better, but she is acting like a sick baby. We took her in for labs and her white count is still very high but she has no symptoms other than her lack of smile. What is going on?

My name is Joyce and i linked from Dorothys site. I really love reading your blog already - you have a great positive way of writing. But most of all I am so happy to see the pics of Richardson and Gerty - few years ago I helped out at Dorothys and think these 2 kids were there as well - their names are familiar. If its the same Richardson he was so happy for us visiting - he would waddle over and think we were thre just for him. Give him a big hug from me next time you are there - he has not been forgotten
