This is my darling Stephanie and Stanley, her favorite baby. Stephanie celebrated her 18th birthday while I was in Haiti. She has always been such an example of maturity, leadership, and faith among the girls, and it was very special to be able to call her a woman for the first time. I have watched her study hard for school, laugh like a child at funny stories, defend her brothers and sisters, sing and dance in front of large crowds, organize all the children towards a common goal, pray fervently, work tirelessly in the kitchen, and care for Stanley as diligently as if she were really his biological mother. She is a gem. Stanley and I are both so lucky to have her in our lives.
